Enjoy farm-to-table meals (all-included) created by Chef Deiby with stunning patio dining and spectacular sunset dinners.
Lapazul is secluded and surrounded by nature. The entire place will be ours with plenty of areas to explore or unwind.
Playshops & Excursions
Through 50 Fun Things personal and professional development sessions, you’ll uncover and get a visceral feel for what brings you joy, connection and fulfillment to guide and take action on your next steps (personal, career, and/or business).
Excursions include a beach barbecue, a guided tour to explore a natural wonderland, the local market, and playing with local blue clay in a refreshing river!
Our closing celebration will equip you to integrate your fresh perspectives and essence of Pura Vida back into daily life.
Free Time
Fun, relaxation and reflection take on a new and deeper meaning on our retreat.
During our free times, you have lots of options to use how you would like.
You may wish to bliss out in the gorgeous infinity pool, journal about your inspirations, relax on a chaise lounge, read on your balcony, look for birds and animals from the patio, explore trails on the property, nap with sounds of nature, meditate, stretch out on the outdoor yoga platform or reserve a staff driver to venture with your new connections.

The 50 Fun Things to Experience Pura Vida in Costa Rica Retreat will be held at the beautiful and luxurious Lapazul Retreat Center, which is offers a breathtaking backdrop for this experiential retreat. Lapazul is situated on a mountaintop on the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Lapazul is comfortably luxurious with spacious air-conditioned modern rooms, a set of queen beds and private bathrooms. Each room has a balcony or patio overlooking the infinity pool, forest and ocean. There is also an air-conditioned executive lounge. PLUS, we have the entire complex exclusively for our retreat!
Rooms
Lapazul rooms are luxurious with generous space to spread out! Each has it’s own mini fridge and coffee maker. Rooms keep cool with ceiling fans and AC as well.
Private Bathroom
Even the bathrooms are Lapazul are spacious! They boast local lush bath products (soap, shampoo, conditioner) and each guest can lounge in their own comfy robe!

Common Areas
Lapazul grounds are lush with bamboo, greenery and flowers. To immerse in the tropical weather, sessions will be outside when conducive. The Pacific room is comfortable and has a full glass wall to enjoy the scenery.

Teresa Thomas ignites intentional, connected, and joy-filled living through her umbrella brand Win Win Connects.
Teresa developed the 50 Fun Things® tools and experiences as a way for groups and individuals to look at how they can add fun and fulfillment as integral pieces in their lives, leveraging joy on a personal and professional level. She originally created the tool simply for herself as a way to live fully and in alignment with how she wanted her life to be. Others became curious and it quickly caught on. Teresa began leading workshops which led to creating a workbook, and inspirational books, facilitating 50 Fun Things for conferences, summits, teams, celebrations, and even global retreats.
Teresa is also a networking expert and author of Win/Win Networking: Your Guidebook for Confident and Effective Connections and 50 Fun Things: Enjoy the Small Things (and more recently 50 Fun Things for a Writer’s World). She has guided thousands to connect and grow through her engaging programs, presentations, and books.

Rachel is a certified LIA coach. She has generously offered to review each of her fellow retreaters’ Life Maps who would like to dive deep and look honestly at their lives with the intention of creating abundance and fulfillment.

- Cost of purchasing or updating your passport (Costa Rica is outside the US/Canada so a passport is required)
- Personal, medical or trip cancellation insurance, medical costs, the costs of hospitalization and evacuation from remote areas, additional expenses arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of transportation, or other causes beyond our control.
- Travel Insurance
Our venue, Lapazul, requires that all attendees purchase and maintain travel insurance during the entire length of the retreat including the return date. Coverage should include, but not be limited to illness, injury, property damage, loss of personal items, death, cancellation and any other potential losses, damages, expenses and/or liabilities. You are responsible for purchasing this insurance when you register for the retreat. Some options are Trawick International, Travel Guard options, and Global Rescue. To protect your retreat investment, we strongly encourage purchasing a CFAR (Cancel for any reason) Insurance policy which covers COVID and checking to ensure it covers all of your costs including the retreat, airline tickets, and hotel.
