Venue
Your luxurious home for 7 days / 6 nights awaits you at Lapazul, an exclusive Boutique Retreat Center situated on a mountaintop of Costa Rica's sun-kissed west coast. Every spacious, modern room has a balcony with breathtaking views over the ocean and untouched forest. Farm-to-table meals created by Chef Deiby include spectacular sunset dinners. Lapazul is surrounded by nature with plenty of areas to explore or unwind.
Playshops & Excursions
Through 50 Fun Things personal and professional development playshops, you'll uncover what brings you joy, connection and fulfillment. Excursions include a beach barbecue, a guided tour to explore a natural wonderland, the local market, playing with local blue clay and washing it off in a refreshing river! Our closing celebration will equip you to bring the experience of Pura Vida back home with you to daily life.
Free Time
Fun and relaxation takes on a new and deeper meaning on our retreat. During our free times, you may wish to soak into the bliss of the gorgeous infinity pool, relax on a chaise lounge, read on your balcony, look for birds and animals from the patio, explore trails on the property, nap with sounds of nature, stretch out on the outdoor yoga platform or reserve a staff driver to venture to the beach, market or site-see with your new friends. ​

Your retreat experience is designed to be seamless and stress-free. Once you arrive in San Jose, COSTA RICA, we take care of all the details, including roundtrip airfare to and from San Jose and Quepos, ensuring that your journey to paradise is as smooth as can be. Upon your arrival at Quepos Airport, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and our fun and friendly drivers will whisk us away to Lapazul Retreat Center in comfortable cars.

Cancellation Policy
Protect your investment in the retreat by purchasing the required travel insurance early on (see below). Deposit payments are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received between July 15, 2023, and September 30, 2023 will result in a total loss of $750 deposit and a loss of 50% of the balance of retreat price. Cancellations received between September 30, 2023 and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds.
NOTE: If there are COVID or other such testing requirements in place at the time of the retreat and you test positive, you will be unable to attend the retreat and this will be considered a cancellation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE is REQUIRED
Our venue, Lapazul, requires that all attendees purchase and maintain travel insurance during the entire length of the retreat (including the return date). Coverage should include, but not be limited to illness, injury, property damage, loss of personal items, death, cancellation and any other potential losses, damages, expenses and/or liabilities.
You are responsible for purchasing this insurance when you register for the retreat. Some great options are Trawick International and Global Rescue To protect your retreat investment, we strongly encourage purchasing a CFAR (Cancel for any reason) Insurance policy which covers COVID and checking to ensure it covers all of your costs including the retreat, airline tickets, and hotel. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so your deposit and payments will be refunded). If the trip is rescheduled due to COVID restrictions, we will roll your deposit and any paid funds over to the new date.

Lapazul Boutique Retreat Center
The 50 Fun Things to Experience Pura Vida in Costa Rica Retreat will be held at the beautiful and luxurious Lapazul Retreat Center, which is offers a breathtaking backdrop for this experiential retreat. Lapazul is situated on a mountaintop on the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
At Lapazul, people come from around the world to connect to a place like none other and with people seeking the same knowledge. A place where the beauty around them awakens their senses and opens them to amazing breakthroughs. A place that welcomes them to its peaceful beauty and tranquil environment.
Lapazul is comfortably luxurious with spacious air-conditioned modern rooms, a set of queen beds and private bathrooms. About Teresa
Teresa Thomas ignites intentional, connected, and joy-filled living through her umbrella brand Win Win Connects.

Teresa developed the 50 Fun Things® tools and experiences as a way for groups and individuals to look at how they can add fun and fulfillment as integral pieces in their lives, leveraging joy on a personal and professional level. She originally created the tool simply for herself as a way to live fully and in alignment with how she wanted her life to be. Others became curious and it quickly caught on. Teresa began leading workshops which led to creating a workbook, and inspirational books, facilitating 50 Fun Things for conferences, summits, teams, celebrations, and even global retreats.

Teresa is also a networking expert and author of Win/Win Networking: Your Guidebook for Confident and Effective Connections and 50 Fun Things: Enjoy the Small Things (and more recently 50 Fun Things for a Writer's World). She has guided thousands to connect and grow through her engaging programs, presentations, and books.
